NIGHT HUNTER

For some, the night is time for rest, but for others, it is time for hunting. In the night of the Bahía de Las Ánimas in Baja California, an owl (Megascops kennicottii) observes and listens to the movements in the desert. It is perfectly capable of seeing and hearing in the distance, but its prey does not see the hunter stalking them.
