The Mexican horned lizard

Description

During an expedition, my friends and I walked for a full day to reach a small village in the middle of a Mexican dry forest in central Mexico. Once we reached the town, we reported ourselves to our friends there, we rested for a couple of hours and then continued walking towards a small mountain where we camped hours later. The next day, while exploring the area over the mountain, we found this rare species a Mexican horned lizard (Phrynosoma taurus) moving between the rocks, almost knowing that he was going to be the main character of that expedition.
